Tower of TerrorAs you walk through the lobby of The Hollywood Tower Hotel toward the library, take a second to notice the keys and mail behind the counter.  In one of these slots is a man’s photo.  Who that man might be…no one knows.

Mementos Left Behind

Posted by Ashley Rae on April 21, 2009

As a couple ate their dinner at The Hollywood Tower, the lightning struck the elevator shafts, and the couple left unharmed.  During their quick departure, the woman left her gloves and bag, but both people had enough time to turn their forks over to symbolize the bad service they recieved that night.

You are the passengers on a most uncommon elevator…

…about to ascend into your very own episode of…The Twilight Zone. Tower of Terror Lobby Clock

As a new addition to my “Having a Magical Time” series, I am showcasing the Twilight Zone’s Tower of Terror clock. This can be found in the lobby of the attraction before you enter into the library.

According to the story five people were taking a maintenance service elevator to their room in The Hollywood Tower in 1939.  Around 8:05 p.m., lightning hit the hotel and the elevator shafts disappeared.

As evidence for the time freeze, a clock in the lobby forever displays 8:05 p.m.
