Having a Magical Time

It's A Small World

The clock in It’s A Small World is a large iconic structure that is featured on a new 9″ Vinylmation. Important to the attraction, the clock is located on the Exit side of the boat ride. The clock does a little show every few minutes, but it is difficult to follow the time. The clock was not set properly when I boarded the Happiest Little Cruise That Ever Did Sail, and it was hours later when I left.

Having a Magical Time

American AdventureAnother very functional clock over at The American Adventure in the World Showcase.  I know that the Imagineers who constructed the main building used forced perspective to make the building look smaller although it appears to have four stories.  I wonder if the clock factors into this at all.

As a side note, a quote from Glen Whalen from Passamaquoddy “…it’s like the American Adventure…You leave proud.” -Glen Whalen

Having a Magical Time

Something I began to notice in the Walt Disney World Resort is its large amount of clocks and timepieces. Some of these are meant to tell the time while others are merely props in attractions. During this series I hope to capture many of the clocks around Walt Disney World and try to decode both the uses and odd times that some are set to.

The first clock in the series is the working clock above the Walt Disney World Railroad in the Magic Kingdom.
