Vinylmation Disney-Pixar Toy Story

I often feel guilty about neglected my blog and neglecting my Vinylmation collection. Truthfully, I am still very interested in the Park Series and the Muppets Series, but it’s often difficult to convince myself to spend the money to purchase a tray to fulfill my completionist attitude. Finally, a set has come along that I knew would satisfy both my mother and my collection.

I recently purchased the Disney-Pixar Toy Story set that was designed my Disney Design Group’s Thomas Scott.

In order to continue my past habits, I took note of the Vinylmations’ placements and took individual photos of the items.

I hope you enjoy this long forgotten tradition of mine.

School has definitely gotten in the way of my exercising. I live half a week by UCF and the other by WDW. I’m hoping that eating healthy will help with half of the battle.

I did purchase the Toy Story 3 Vinylmation tray that I plan to post hopefully Friday or Saturday…

I know it has been over a YEAR since I’ve touched this blog! I’m really hoping that life is going to cool down soon. Since last year, I spent 10 months working in the Norway Pavilion’s Akershus Royal Banquet Hall and since April I have been at the UK’s Rose and Crown. I’ve loved every second of it, but balancing it between a full time schedule at UCF leaves me exhausted at the end of the day.

But… what I really want to talk about is my current Wait List position for the Wine & Dine Half Marathon on October 2, 2010. I’m hoping with the new 1000 positions they opened up for the race that I will quickly get a response (or at least within the next two weeks). Either way, I’m starting my training today! This might be a lame eight weeks of blogging, but I need somewhere to inspire me to stay on track. The desired effect will hopefully lead me to return to the Disney blogging community… Hope you join me on my half marathon adventure!

Chinese Laundry

According to Wikipedia, Chinese Americans were heavily identified with laundry work in the late 19th and 20th century. It is estimated that around 1900, one out of every four Chinese men worked in the laundry business. This fact is used in the Magic Kingdom’s Frontierland as a part of its theming. In addition, here is an article about the Chinese Laundries in San Diego, California and how they came about.

Found between Big Thunder Mountain and Tom Sawyer’s Island, the Miner’s Cove is humorous to me because it is one of if not the only named Smoking Locations.
